Foot Treatments

To set you on the path of healthy feet, I offer specialist treatments for a variety of foot and nail conditions to people of all ages:

  • Nail cut and file
  • Corns
  • Callus (hard skin)
  • Thickened nails
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Fungal nail
  • Verrucae

Each new patient will receive a thorough foot health check and neurovascular assessment.

Ingrown Toenail

Ingrown toenails occur when the edge of the toenail grows into the surrounding skin, causing intense pain, swelling, and may also result in infections.

Nail Cut and File

Toenails trimmed correctly reduces the risk of discomfort caused by long and uneven nails and prevents other foot health issues or conditions.

Callus (hard skin)

Calluses are areas of thickened skin which develop due to repeated friction or pressure. Calluses often occur on the heels or balls of the foot. While calluses may serve as protection against the experienced friction, if left untreated, they can become painful and unattractive.

Corns

Corns are the small areas of thickened skin that occur due to excessive pressure or friction. Corns are often found on the sides or on the top of toes and the soles of the foot, forming a highly painful walking experience.

Verruca

Verruca is a type of wart that surfaces on the soles of your feet and toes due to the viral infection HPV. Verruca can be incredibly painful and may spread if it is not treated properly.

Thickened Nails

Thickened nails may be caused by an injury, aging and/or poor circulation to name some. The nail may become discoloured, brittle and painful.

Fungal Nail

It is vital to treat fungal nail at the earliest possibility. If fungal infections are left untreated, the nail may discolour, deform and become brittle. The fungal infection may spread and cause additional complications for you and your feet.
